Veggies & More welcomes readers from all over the world. This makes privacy rules a challenge, since there is currently no global agreement on them.
Veggies & More is registered in The Netherlands, and as a result, abides by the GDPR. Each country may have their own privacy reghulations, but the GDPR is as strict as any of them. So your data is safe here!
In this policy, I will explain what personal data is collected, why, for how long and on what legal grounds. I’ll also go over how your privacy is secured to the extend of my abilities.
Keep in mind that social media platforms which you may use to view or interact with content produced by the website (for instance, YouTube or Pinterest) have their own data protection policies.
These are beyond my reach.
Veggies & More Community
The Veggies & More community includes people from all over the world. When you join this community by signing up for the Veggies & More newsletter, you will share your name, email address and country of origin.
I collect this data to welcome you to the Veggies & More community, and to send you occasional exclusive plant-based nutrition content and information.
You consent to sharing this information by signing up to the newsletter.
The legal basis is permission, which you can withdraw at any moment by unsubscribing from my emails through the link included at the end of any newsletter sent to you.
I love receiving emails from readers. Most of these emails are deleted directly after reading them. In rare occasions, they are kept for a little while longer, to give me time to properly respond to them.
Any comment you leave on the website or any interaction you have with the Veggies & More social media channels will remain posted until you delete it yourself, or until the channel decides to archive or delete your messages.
In the advent I deem the comment or interaction as innapropriate or compromising in any way, I am free to delete that response. You can find more information regarding this in the Terms of Use.
Payments and Stripe
Payments made for the products or services offered by Veggies & More are processed processed securely by a third-party payment processor, Stripe.
The website do not store any of your payment information on its servers. Stripe handles all payment transactions, and your payment details are encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe.
Stripe’s use of your personal information is governed by their own privacy policy, which I recommend you review.
I only receive a confirmation from Stripe that the payment was successful, along with limited information necessary to associate the payment with your user account.

When you buy a product or service from the website, be it an e-book, course, or a remote nutrition consultation , you become a Veggies & More customer.
The legal basis then turns from permission to contractual agreement.
From customers, I also collect bank account numbers, delivery details, and I keep track of your purchases. This is necessary for me to be able to deliver your purchases.
I will keep this information for my own administration which I am legally required to hold on to for at least 8 years after purchase.
Social media
I use social media channels such as YouTube, Pinterest to provide community info. In order to see Veggie & More’s social media on these channels, you have to accept their privacy policy.
These channels collect a lot of your personal data on their behalf.
Note that Veggies & More is not responsible for such services. These channels do not return personal data to me.
Other third parties
Veggies & More is also obliged to share customer information with government authorities in the case of suspicious situations.
Your personal information will not be sold to third parties.
Veggies & More does not use your data for profiling.
Data storage
Veggies & More save your information in several databases, and always uses strict safety measures, such as secure socket layer (SSL) technology to protect your data from unauthorized access during transmission.
Your information is saved within the European Union or is passed on to countries outside of the European Union, which ensures that your privacy remains protected in the best way possible as officially determined by the EU.
Some American parties are registered under the Privacy Shield, which provides sufficient protection.
Alternatively, Veggies & More works with official EU designed model contracts, which are specifically set up to safeguard your privacy.

Veggies & More uses cookies to help give you the best browsing experience.
A cookie is a small text file which is sent to your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”) by the web server so that a website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the Website.
First party cookies are created by the website that you are visiting.
